About Us

What we do

Our team of health professionals have been helping children and families for 15 years. We are passionate about helping children participate in everyday activities, especially in Sensory Processing therapy and Neuro-Developmental Treatment. Our qualifications also include pre-academic and fine motor skills to increase success in school settings, ADL training and physical disabilities.

An assessment will first be conducted, followed by the necessary therapy.

Assessment

We will first assess your child as follows: Initial assessment, sensory assessment, school readiness assessment, functional capacity assessment.

Therapy

After assessment, we work with you and your child to create a customised plan that is best suited for your child’s needs.

Our Story

Founded in 2023 by our Senior Occupational Therapist and Director, Nour Al-Sayyed, Beehive Occupational Therapy for Kids is a specialised paediatric service based in Gregory Hills, NSW. We are committed to delivering holistic, evidence-based therapy tailored to the unique needs of each child and their famil.

Nour completed her education and certification at the University of Jordan and has 19 years of experience working in paediatrics across Jordan and Australia. Her dedication and passion for supporting children is evident in the thoughtful, above-and-beyond care she provides, ensuring close collaboration with and support for parents, teachers, and other therapists. Establishing her own clinic has allowed her to design services that reflect her personal standards and vision, ensuring that every aspect of care from her and her team is of the highest quality, effective, and family-centred.

From our original location in Oran Park, NSW, we have grown to our current clinic, which features an engaging sensory gym, a wide range of tabletop activities, and interactive therapeutic resources. We are passionate about helping children participate fully in everyday activities and develop essential skills in areas such as pre-academic abilities, fine and gross motor development, self-care, and physical functioning. Our aim is to boost confidence, independence, and success at school and in daily life. As our team continues to grow, we are excited to expand our services and support more children and families in our community. At the Hive, each and every child’s progress is our greatest reward.
